Dalbe Markman is a highly skilled master stylist and educator, with a background of over 15 years of excellence in the industry. Dalbe trained at the prestigious London-based Allilon Education, and has received over a decade of international training with global Davines educators. Specializing in precision cutting and transformative makeovers, she is beloved for her expertise in razor cuts, short styles, and lived-in haircuts. Her mastery extends to color corrections, cutting extensions for natural looks, and creating dramatic color changes. In addition to her extensive mentorship and education commitments, she is also an editorial stylist and colorist for local, regional, and national projects. She remains dedicated to advancing her craft as a Davines salon color and cutting educator for East Coast and North American salons, and is committed to training and mentoring a new generation of stylists through AOC Salon’s renowned apprenticeship program.

Sabrina Hayes is a North Carolina native that moved to Hampton Roads and joined AOC Salon in 2013, where she quickly transitioned from front desk coordinator to a talented stylist. Specializing in balayage and certified in multiple extension techniques, Sabrina's love for color shines through in every service she provides. Her journey from apprentice to stylist is a testament to her dedication and passion for the art of hair.

Sterling graduated with all honors from Paul Mitchell Academy in 2010, then completed a rigorous two-year apprenticeship at one of the world’s top 200 salons — a prestigious French salon in Sarasota, Florida. He later honed his craft with an advanced precision cutting course at the legendary Vidal Sassoon Academy. In 2015, he opened his own boutique luxury salon in downtown Richmond, Virginia, quickly establishing himself as the go-to expert for stunning balayage highlights, beautifully layered haircuts, chic short pixies, polished men’s grooming, and all fashion-forward short styles.
After 11 successful years running his salon, Sterling sold the business to pursue his passion for sailing and travel, returning with fresh inspiration and an even sharper eye for what makes hair look effortlessly beautiful. Now a Master Stylist at AOC Salons, he combines classical French and British training into his signature “fresh and fritish” approach — a perfect blend of refined European technique with modern, wearable style.

Megan began her career as a stylist at Rudy and Kelly Academy in 2017 where, after 1,200 hours of hard work, she graduated from cosmetology school. Right after, she received the opportunity to work as an assistant at AOC Salon to help further her education. Megan has now been behind the chair full-time since 2020 and continues to focus on growing her skills and helping everyone around her feel more beautiful.

Lizzy Markman is originally from Ukraine where she was adopted by salon founders Brian and Dalbe Markman, and has been part of the AOC Salon family since she was 15. Inspired by her early exposure to the salon environment and family business, Lizzy pursued her passion for hair and completed her cosmetology program, then began working as a stylist in 2022. Eager to continue her education, Lizzy looks forward to continuing to create beautiful hair and a fun experience for her clients.

Meet Kathleen, a passionate and charismatic hair stylist dedicated to making her clients feel at ease. A graduate of Aspen Beauty Academy and certified in hair extensions, Kathleen is driven by her love for the industry and a desire to continuously improve her skills. Her warm and vibrant energy creates a welcoming atmosphere, putting even the most anxious clients at ease.
Fluent in Spanish, Kathleen is happy to cater to Spanish-speaking clients, making her services accessible to a broader range of people. Originally from Maryland, Kathleen relocated to Virginia Beach with her husband due to his Navy career.
When not working her magic behind the chair, Kathleen enjoys soaking up the sun at the beach, exploring new destinations, and spending quality time with her husband and cat. She looks forward to getting to know you and creating a personalized look that leaves you beaming with confidence.

When she’s not perfecting styles in the salon, Noemi enjoys practicing yoga and spending quality time with friends and family.

Chloe Shipman, born and raised in Norfolk, VA, has always been passionate about making others feel good about themselves. For her, the joy of hairstyling lies in the creative challenges it presents, especially the final blow dry and styling that brings every look together. When she’s not at the salon, Chloe loves spending time at Lake Gaston, taking her dog Lyla on adventures, shopping, and exploring new restaurants with friends. She chose AOC Salon for its supportive, non-judgmental environment, where everyone is dedicated to helping each other grow. Chloe is excited to begin her journey through the apprenticeship program as she starts school soon.

Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Morgan graduated from Rudy & Kelly Academy, A Paul Mitchell Partner School, in 2009 before beginning her career behind the chair and in bridal hair and makeup. After spending nearly a decade in Southern California, she returned home to Virginia Beach in 2025 and immediately joined the team at AOC Salon. Morgan specializes in lived-in blondes, dimensional brunettes, and gray coverage, with a focus on creating hair that not only looks beautiful, but helps her clients feel confident in their everyday lives. Known for her calm presence, listening ear, and thoughtful approach, she loves helping busy moms and professionals find a look that feels effortless, polished, and truly like the best version of themselves.

Currently in the process of obtaining her license, Mila has a passion for maintaining a calm and grounding presence behind the chair. Her purpose extends beyond creating gorgeous hair, and into manifesting self-connection. While she has big dreams for the future, her main focus is to continuously improve her craft.
Outside of the salon, Mila is a free-spirited yogi, with a soft-spot for her family, and a love for creating magic everyday.

Jenna started her cosmetology journey in 2023 through AOC Salons’ apprenticeship program. Eager to learn and grow as an artist, she took every opportunity to attend classes and hands on training to build her skills and confidence behind the chair. Today, as a licensed cosmetologist, she brings that knowledge into every appointment.
Inspired by her oldest sister, a hairstylist, Jenna has always been intrigued with everything there is to know about hair. She enjoys anything from a lasting lived in look to a creative haircut while building genuine connections with them along the way.
When she’s not in the salon, you can find Jenna soaking up the sun at the beach, taking a road trip, or searching for her next thrift find. She can’t wait to meet you, help you achieve your hair goals, and make sure you leave her chair feeling great!

Hi my name is Jaelyn. I have been in the hair industry for over 12 years.
My main goal behind the chair is to be able to give my guests a personalized look that is low maintenance, with a high impact & give my guests a safe space to be & express themselves My specialties include balayage, lived-in colors & seamless textured haircuts. Balayage being my main specialty I love the customization that comes with the balayage technique, allowing them to bring a natural glow and unique look to each guest.

Anastasia is a licensed cosmetologist with a passion for creating personalized looks that help each client feel confident and beautiful. From a young age, she loved styling her friends’ hair and expressing her creativity, which eventually inspired her to pursue a career in cosmetology.
After moving to Virginia, she joined AOC Salon and spent 4 years years training through the salon’s apprenticeship program, developing the skills and experience needed to become a licensed professional. Upon completing her apprenticeship, she successfully passed her state board exam and has now been behind the chair at AOC Salon for over a year.
Anastasia specializes in creating customized looks that complement each client’s unique style, lifestyle, and beauty goals. She is dedicated to continuing her education and providing every guest with a welcoming and personalized salon experience.
Outside of the salon, she enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, and playing tennis with friends. On the weekends, she can often be found exploring local coffee shops with her fiancé and enjoying quality time with family and friends.

I’ve been in the beauty industry since high school, and hairstyling has truly become my passion. I love creating soft, lived-in color, beautiful balayage, dimensional hair, and layered cuts that enhance your natural beauty while fitting your lifestyle.
My favorite part of what I do is seeing the smile on my clients’ faces at the end of their appointment. There’s nothing better than helping someone feel confident, refreshed, and like the best version of themselves.
Outside of the salon, you can usually find me reading on the beach, spending time with my dog, or hanging out with friends and family. I love staying active, working out, and spending time outdoors, if it involves being outside, I’m probably in!

Hi, I'm Keedayla, a passionate cosmetology professional and apprentice at AOC Salon. I graduated from cosmetology school in April 2026 and have been dedicated to growing my craft ever since.
My passion for hair began when I first learned how to do my own hair. What started as a personal interest quickly grew into a career centered around helping others feel confident and beautiful. I specialize in braids, natural protective styles, extensions, and silk presses, with a focus on maintaining the health and integrity of my clients' hair.
As an apprentice at AOC Salon, I am continuing to expand my skills through advanced training in precision haircuts, blowouts, and hair color services. I am committed to ongoing education, creativity, and providing each client with a personalized experience that helps them achieve their hair goals.

Howdy, I’m Taylor (or Tay)! In 2017 I joined the industry + became licensed in both Texas + Virginia. Wedding/special event hair + makeup was my first and longest love, but in regard to cutting + coloring, I specialize in all things lived-in, low maintenance + naturally you. I also realllllly enjoy having a diverse clientele + creating boldly placed vivids or out of the box looks. I have a passion for texture— give me all the waves + curls! If you don’t have texture but want it, I’m certified in the Curl Cult perming system + would love to talk through options with you. I geek out over the ever-evolving science behind this industry, combined with the authentic artistry + raw humanity portion, as well.
